Withdrawal Process
Withdrawal Policy
St. Xavier High School Khirkona has established a clear withdrawal process to ensure a smooth transition for students who need to leave the school. We understand that circumstances may arise that necessitate a student's withdrawal, and we aim to make this process as straightforward as possible.
Please follow the steps outlined below to complete the withdrawal process. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our administrative office.
Withdrawal Process Steps
Step 1: Submit Withdrawal Application
Parents/guardians must submit a written application for withdrawal to the school office. The application should clearly state the reason for withdrawal and the last date of attendance.
Step 2: Clearance from Departments
Obtain clearance from the library, sports department, and accounts section. All school property must be returned, and outstanding dues must be cleared before the withdrawal process can proceed.
Step 3: Exit Interview
An exit interview may be conducted with the parents/guardians and the student to understand the reason for withdrawal and gather feedback about the school experience.
Step 4: Issuance of Transfer Certificate
After completing all formalities and clearing all dues, the school will issue a Transfer Certificate (TC) within 7 working days. The TC is essential for admission to another school.
Step 5: Collection of Documents
Parents/guardians can collect the Transfer Certificate and other academic documents from the school office on the specified date. Original documents submitted during admission will be returned.
Notice Period
Parents/guardians are required to provide a minimum of one month's notice before withdrawing their child from the school. This allows the school administration sufficient time to process the withdrawal and prepare the necessary documents.
Important Note
Withdrawal applications submitted without adequate notice may result in delay in the issuance of the Transfer Certificate and other documents.
